Trial flights give one the opportunity to pilot a JAA certified training aircraft and feel like a pilot. The passenger is given a briefing with one of our pilots and then gets to do the preflight tests together with the pilot. The passenger sits in the pilot seat within the cockpit. The passenger is then made familiar with the instruments and controls and is given a head set. The pilot together with the passenger will then follow through communications with the Air Traffic Controller for a start up and taxi clearance. The aircraft will then line up on the runway until the Air Traffic Controller will clear to commence takeoff. The passenger will then enjoy spectacular views from the aircraft and will get to assist the pilot by taking over the controls under the assiatance of the qualified pilot. Photos are allowed and the passenger gets to feel like a pilot for a day.

Simulator FNPT 2

The simulator FNPT 2 is used for training of professional commercial pilots before they start working for airlines. The simulator is the only one in Malta. A simulator flight consits of a 15 minute briefing by one of our pilots where the aviator will be given an introduction to the simulator, the various instruments it has, what they are used for, how the simulator is handled and an overview of what the flight will consist of. The passenger will then proceed to the simulator, wear his/her headsets and take control of the simulator as the pilot guides the passenger on the basic principles of flight. The flight may be conducted over the Maltese islands, in Venice, in Paris, over the Greek islands and wherever the passenger would like to visit. The flight may be conducted in stormy weather, in rain, clouds or in calm sunny conditions. The flight may also be conducted at night, during broad daylight or during a romantic sunrise. The pilot may also simulate an engine failure where the passenger would be briefed on how to control the aircraft with just one engine. This flight is an ideal gift for aviation enthusiasts and for aspiring pilots who would like to taste the feeling of flying.

  1. A booking can consist of either a single exam or a combination of exams.
  2. When booking for exams the full fee must be paid. The payments made for exams are non refundable and cannot be cancelled. The exams will be made available within 24 hours of receipt of payment during normal office hours (excluding weekends and holidays).
  3. If a situation arises that has not been covered by these Terms, we reserve the right to take any fair and reasonable action that we think appropriate.
  4. The agreement is governed by the Laws of Malta.
